Marine Armor System (MAS) announces an updated website, along with its
global launch, as the product has continued to experience unprecedented
success.
MAS is a new, non-lethal ship protection system that has its base in ballistic
blinds, which protect a vessel or rig from threats such as pirate attacks,
armed robbery, sabotage, and terrorism.The system itself incorporates anti-pirate bunkers, citadels, safe rooms,
and blockades onboard, which protect the crew with a bullet-proof wall in the
event of a pirate boarding. All of these
features are in line with the current IMO recommendations.
Part of the Collbaix group, MAS uses the conglomerate’s 40 years of
experience in the installation, distribution, and production of high-security
architectural shielding to provide both commercial and residential
solutions.
MAS itself was founded as a naval piracy solution company.The product is made using “kriptonia”, which
is a patented, high-quality substance that is stronger than steel, certified at
an FB6 ballistic level, and is also bullet proof.The material is designed to protect even the
most vulnerable sections of a ship, rig, or platform, and MAS will manufacture,
install, and supply their systems worldwide – both on- and off-shore. The system is concealed when it is not being
used, so it does not even require storage space.
